If the tournament took place in the winter months, then the temperatures would be extremely low. As a result, the players and fans would not enjoy watching the games.

4. To avoid the hurricane season

Hurricanes occur during the summer months and cause damage to the stadiums and surrounding areas. Therefore, if the event takes place during this time, then the stadiums may need to be moved to avoid being damaged.

Many people celebrate Christmas and New Year's Eve during the month of December. As a result, if the tournament were to take places during this time, then many people would not be able to watch the games.

During the Muslim holy month of Ramadan, Muslims fast from sunrise until sunset. As a result, they do not eat or drink anything during this period. Therefore, if the FIFA World Cup were to take place during this time, the players and fans could not eat or drink during the day.
